My friend Mary was back in town for Christmas and this time we photographed the WHOLE family. Be sure to check out the little guy standing in the front of the big family picture with his hands in his pockets. Too funny.
On one of the first nice days in quite some time, we headed outdoors for Kati and Matt's engagement session. I've known Kati for a while, but it was great getting to know Matt (his questions and all ;))
I tend to get really busy around Christmas day. Everyone is in town and they want to take advantage of that time by getting a family portrait. I couldn't resist sharing the photographs of these kids decked out in their holiday best. So cute.
So as you can tell from the fact that I haven't posted anything in over 10 days that things have drastically slowed down. That's normal for this time of year, but it doesn't do much for my blogging career. In an effort not to fall off the face of the blogging earth I'm posting some of my favorite client holiday cards. Here's hoping thing pick up, if just for the sake of my blog!
I'm so pleased with these pictures. Jake was a star! In the past, Jake and I have not always seen eye to eye when it comes to photography- I want to take his picture, he wants to go home and play. But not this year, he was a little model and his parents are always a blast. Here are some of the images.
I had the opportunity to be the second shooter for my friend Kristen this past weekend for the wedding of Jenna and Mike. Within the last month I've been the second shooter on 2 different weddings. This is the first time in 6 years I've had that opportunity and I've forgotten how much I LOVE it. I love being able to sit back and just observe and catch the moments that I may miss as the primary photographer. It's very liberating. I thought I'd share a few of those images. I hope to have the opportunity again soon.
With the help of Alexis's trusty friend Milan (hopefully I'm spelling that correctly) we captured some really cool images. We were coming of a rain storm so it was a bit chilly and cloudy, but with a little team work everything turned out just fine.
