This is my second session with Claire in what will be a year long project. Claire was ready with her A game and we cruised through this session. I just loved her little hippie dress, so cute!
Melissa and Bryan were married at Sunridge Canyon Golf Club this past Friday. Sundridge has the most amazing views surrounding the ceremony site. Hopefully you can see that in some of the ceremony shots. My favorite part of the day was working with the bridal party, they were the most cooperative and fun bridal party I think I've ever worked with. They were willing to try anything we asked of them and it was such a blast. Thank you for making it such a great day!
With the exception of the baby (see the second image) these kids loved being photographed. Their dad decided to get the kids photographed as a gift for his wife for mother's day. It's not an easy task to coordinate 3 kids and get them out of the house for 2 hours- good job!
My cousin Shelley is pregnant with her first child and she asked me to document the baby's first year, beginning with a maternity session. It was so much fun working with them and I'm looking forward to the upcoming year. You'll be seeing the little one in just a few weeks!
I went to my friend Kati's bridal shower yesterday and took some shots of the fun details. I think these are really cute ideas for any party you might be throwing. In this case I loved the bright colors and fun margarita glasses they gave away as favors.
Little Sophie is only 3 weeks old and as her mom and I found out, she does not like to be naked! You'll notice she's swaddled in most of the images, that's because she is most content when all bundled up. When working with little ones you have to go with the flow and let them direct the shoot. We still got some very sweet images of her- here are just a few.
This session was so much fun! Jennifer brought of bunch of beautiful, colorful dresses to wear (of few of which I considered snatching for myself) and was such a natural if front of the camera. My favorite is the image of Jennifer in front of the yellow wall with the pink flowers. I think that may be my favorite senior image of the year. It was a really windy day, but I think that actually worked to our advantage. Thanks Jennifer for such a great session.
It was so difficult narrowing down this post to only 8 images. This past Saturday I photographed the wedding of Leah and Ryan at the gorgeous Montelucia Resort here in Phoenix. The resort opened about 6 months ago and this was my first opportunity to work there. Sandy Walker, of In Awe Weddings and Events, did an AMAZING job planning this event along side Leah and Ryan. I had a fantastic day, a beautiful couple and of course the perfect setting. Don't forget to check out the slideshow link below.
