I adore this family! I work with them every year around the holidays and am so grateful every time they call. They are such good people and so much fun to be around. Here's what we got this time around.

Out of the blue an old friend from high school called me up and asked me to photograph her maternity portraits. I haven't seen Amy since high school and she looks exactly the same! Well, except for that fact that she is now pregnant. It was fun catching up and here are few shots from the session.

So it's that time of year once again, family portrait time. This session was actually Claire's fourth session in her year long program, but we decided to do some family portraits as well. I can't believe this is her fourth session- that first year goes by so fast!

Senior season is back, here's one of my first sessions with Jenna. I love seniors!

Sherri and Jason were married at the Valley Ho a few weeks ago. For those of you who don't know, the Valley Ho has a very 70's retro vibe, lots of cool colors, patterns and textures. The setting fit this couple perfectly- they were fun, easy going and just a joy to work with. The Valley Ho just so happened to be hosting some events for Phoenix Fashion week (yes, I am as surprised as you to learn Phoenix has a fashion week) and they let Sherri and her bridesmaids walk the catwalk for a few photographs. I felt I needed to explain that, or the picture of Sherri on the runway may be very confusing. Thanks Sherri and Jason for a wonderful day!

I meet Julie and JD at their engagement session this past Sunday. They are from Chicago and planning a destination wedding here in Phoenix, they hired me over the phone, so this was our first opportunity to meet. We shot at the Montelucia in Paradise Valley, that's also where they will be getting married. Julie has envisioned a vintage, 40's style wedding- think film noir and Rita Hayworth, how fun!

So I don't normally photograph pet's, but I just love Mookie and I couldn't refuse when he asked. He even went to the doggie spa earlier in the day to prepare. I love it when my clients are so prepared!

Kathryn and Shawn were married a few weeks ago at the Wrigley Mansion in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Just a few months prior Shawn injured his Achilles tendon and was on crutches! Even with that minor hitch the couple enjoyed a wonderful day.

Charlie is seriously one of the happiest babies I've ever photographed. His smiley little face combined with all his rolls make him just irresistible!

Baby Benjamin is just about 3 weeks old. Normally at this age it's best to catch the little ones while they are sleeping, but this little guy really wanted to stay awake for all of the action. But, as I'm finding out, most babies are no match for the gentle glide of their swing. We put him in his swing and 15 minutes later he was in a deep sleep and ready to be molded!

Here is our second session with Alex, we have 2 more to complete documenting his first year. Alex likes to give us about 15 minutes of smiles and then he tends to be done with the shoot. Luckily we took a lot of pictures during those 15 minutes, but I love the "serious" ones too.

I headed out to Tempe this past Sunday with Sherri and Jason for their engagement session, it was 110 degrees outside! They were both such good sports and we braved the heat for over an hour. I feel like they did an excellent job of not looking hot, I was very impressed. So when is it going to cool down?

Little Isabella was born 2 weeks ago to parents Danielle and Nick. I photographed Danielle and Nick's wedding last year and now they have asked me to photograph Isabella's first year (and hopefully beyond!). I've always commented on what a beautiful couple they make and now they make a beautiful little family. Thank you for the opportunity!
